Description:
Hinges can be used on both functional and decorative shutters. For functional shutters they are needed to allow the shutters to close during storms or for general security. On decorative shutters they allow the shutter to be lifted up and off the house for ease of cleaning and painting. These are surface mounted to the back side of the shutter (the side not seen when the shutters are open against the face of the house) and to the face of the window trim or moulding. Lag Pintles are availble for mounting to brick, stone and siding.
